Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager

Manufacturing Engineering - lead the efforts to turn raw materials in the most effective and efficient way possible into a product, by identifying and implementing innovative practices of manufacturing and developing tools, processes, machines and equipment; and to integrate the facilities and systems for producing quality product with the optimum expenditure of capital. This is an opportunity to drive a suite of improvement programs across tooling and material technology as well as automation of existing processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Best in class industrialization of New Products & Process (Time to market, Quality, Cost)
Supplier Selection & Follow-up for technical purchases in cooperation with Purchasing
Capex: Follow-up of Industrial CapEx including post-project evaluation
Manage the matrix team in order to achieve the agreed targets
Build and execute the manufacturing engineering Strategy for Flow Control and Advance Refractories regarding:

Engineering standards (Method/Equipment/Component)
Identification of BAT(best available technology) for each of processes (including industry 4.0)
Early Equipment Management/ Work Place Integration
Creating innovative ways to manufacture for best Life Cycle Cost
Process Safety

Maintenance System (TPM)
Identify and deliver on improvement projects on existing processes
Tooling Technology

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with experience in manufacturing operations roles in an industrial setting for at least 10 years including minimum leadership experience of at least 5 years. He or she should have demonstrated project management experience in an international context in an environment undergoing significant change. The individual should have knowledge of innovation and supplier relations management.
