Our Shared Service Center in Kraków has been growing steadily for the past three years and we are now proud to say that we have over 150 colleagues on board servicing such areas as RTR, PTP, ITC and supporting the processes globally for our organization. As part of the ITC team, we are now looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Junior ITC Accountant with Italian. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of Invoice-to-Cash operations, ranging from bank statement processing to bank sheet reconciliations. The area of responsibility will be the Italian market, so having a solid knowledge of the language is crucial. Prior experience in ITC activities will also be considered a plus, but we are open to people at the start of their career, and wanting to learn more about this field. Come join us!

Responsibilities:

• Taking part in billing process - timely processing of sales invoices/credit notes (standard stock, non-stock, manual etc.)
• Performing cash management activities including cash allocation, posting bank receipts and bank statements reconciliation
• Assisting in credit management and collection processes if required
• Assisting and taking part in close process (month-end, year-end) and ensuring that activities are completed on a timely basis to meet reporting deadlines
• Providing basic reports from own area of responsibility and assist in preparation of any other reports
• Handling most common customer queries in a professional matter
• Taking part in improvement projects, identifying improvement opportunities in daily work
• Cooperating with the local finance team and other Vesuvius departments, communicating data to internal and external stakeholders after consultations with more senior team member
• Providing relevant data upon request in terms of standard questions, supporting other team members in any additional activities and ad hoc requests
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Keeping the process documentation up-to-date

Requirements:

• Computer literate with basic/intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Italian at B2 level
• Strong data entry Skills
• English at B2+ level
• University degree in Finance or related fields – preferred
• Prior work experience in ITC Accounting - preferred
• Familiar with SAP B1/A1 or scheduling systems – preferred,
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
