Our Shared Service Center in Kraków has been growing steadily for the past three years and we are now proud to say that we have over 180 colleagues on board servicing such areas as RTR, PTP, ITC and supporting the processes globally for our organization.
We are now looking for a talented individual to join us as a Junior Vendor Master Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of master data-related requests, acting as the first point of contact for VMD queries, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data. Prior experience in this field will be considered a plus, but we are open to candidates with experience in areas such as Accounting and Finance. Strong fluency in English is required for the role, in addition to knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Performing all procedures and processes related to vendor master data
- Performing integrity checks to ensure the timely, high-quality and accurate processing of vendor master data requests
- Ensuring all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation and comply with company policies and guidelines before they are processed
- Supporting knowledge transfers in accordance with agreed schedules
- Providing vendor master data reports according to internal requirements
- Acting as the primary point of contact for business questions related to vendor master data and resolving queries
- Analysing and improving data quality, including the regular revision of audit reports
- Conducting root cause analyses of data quality issues and developing new processes to prevent future issues, including taking the necessary corrective actions
- Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the Shared Services Center and taking part in special projects (e.g., the implementation of new systems)
- Focusing on process standardization and automation
- Creating the process documentation and keeping it up to date
Supporting audits as required by providing the relevant documentation and information.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of English (min. C1 level)
- Polish fluency – preferred
- Knowledge of other foreign languages (B1 minimum) is a nice-to-have
- Prior experience in Vendor Master Data is preferred. Alternatively, backgrounds in Procurement, Finance or Accounting will be considered favourably
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to cooperate effectively with team members
- Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure to meet deadlines
