At Vesuvius Poland, sustainability starts with everyday habits. We actively involve our employees in pro-environmental initiatives – we sort waste, collect e-waste, plant trees on our premises, and encourage cycling to work. We believe that small steps have great power, and real change begins with us. 

From e-waste to education 

In January, we held Sustainability Week, during which we discussed environmental topics and the role of technology in protecting the planet. One of the key initiatives was an e-waste collection drive. Our employees brought in old electronic equipment that would otherwise end up in landfills. The campaign concluded on April 20th – Earth Day, marking the occasion symbolically.
This was not a one-time event. At our Skawina plant, we promote everyday practices such as waste segregation, reducing paper use, and implementing small but effective solutions that make a tangible impact on our surroundings. 

Modern manufacturing means less waste 

We operate in an industrial environment, but that doesn’t mean we’re indifferent to the climate. Quite the opposite. In our processes, we: 

• reduce production waste, 

• increase the use of recycled materials, 

• develop products designed for reuse, 

• invest in technologies that lower energy consumption. 

Our solutions are delivered to steel and foundry facilities worldwide, helping the entire sector work more efficiently and more sustainably.
