We have just concluded a remarkable event, the Family Picnic, which was attended by Vesuvius employees and their families, totaling over 800 people. Its goal was integration and good fun. The picnic was also an opportunity to celebrate the anniversaries of the longest-serving individuals at Vesuvius.

In addition to entertainment, spending time together, and enjoying delicious food, we inaugurated our Safety Days. Picnic participants had the opportunity to experience attractions related to health and safety, such as a rollover and a road accident simulator.

The event was also an opportunity to encourage children to engage in scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical activities (STEM). At special stations, the youngest ones could acquire valuable knowledge through play.

We are thrilled that the Family Picnic initiative has returned after a longer hiatus due to the pandemic. We would like to thank everyone involved in organizing this endeavor. See you next year!
