Two weeks of mobilisation by employees, tens of kilograms of collected food and treats for the charges of the shelter in Skawina – this is how the New Year’s collection at Vesuvius in Skawina can be summarised.

– Our aim was not to collect as many items as possible, but first and foremost to respond to the needs of the shelter. We wanted to help wisely. – says Ewelina Rak, Recruitment Specialist at Vesuvius Poland and a volunteer at the shelter.

That is why we first consulted the Skawina Animal Welfare Association about the exact list of items needed. The collection lasted over two weeks and showed that together we can really do a lot. We provided the shelter with dog and cat food as well as cat litter and treats – all of very good quality.

The whole initiative would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers, who got involved in the campaign.
