A national football tournament – the ‘Interprofessional Cup of Poland in Football’ – was held last weekend. The tournament took place in Tychy on 20-21 April 2024. Despite the fact that the Vesuvius Poland team was making its debut in this tournament, they returned to Skawina with an impressive cup.

Eleven teams from, among others, Tychy, Gliwice, Wieluń, Opole or Chojnice took part in the tournament, of which six teams advanced to the championship group. Vesuvius was represented by: Tadeusz Szewczyk, Jakub Małecki, Michał Stasiński, Mateusz Spisak, Konrad Cichoń, Henryk Śliwa, Krystian Grabek and Adrian Kmiecik, with Maciej Bil as the captain. After passing the group stage, our players advanced to the championship group, from where they reached the semi-final, where they defeated the Lear Tychy team 3:1. They met resistance only in the final match against the players from Polpharma Medana, thus winning the vice-championship of the tournament. Huge congratulations to our Team!
