On Thursday, March 26, a visit took place at the Vesuvius Poland plant in Skawina, providing an opportunity to present the operational activities and development directions of our organization.

The visit was attended by Distinguished Guests, including members of the Vesuvius Board – Carla Bailo, Robert MacLeod and Mark Collis (who also serves as Chief Financial Officer). They were accompanied by Pascal Genest (President Flow Control), Fabricio Salazar (Vice President Flow Control EMEA), Mario Ravanelli (HR Director Steel EMEA), Rohit Baheti (Regional Finance Director), and Jan Schmidt (Senior Commercial Director Steel, Europe).

The meeting opened with a plant overview and a review of its global product portfolio. Key discussions focused on the Quality Maturity Journey and Smart Way initiatives, addressing both progress and operational challenges. The group also reviewed transformation plans and CAPEX investments aimed at growth. The visit included a production floor tour and updates on iEngage and sustainability. The session concluded with a strategic business review covering market performance and financial forecasts.

Overall, the visit provided a comprehensive overview of Vesuvius Poland’s operations in Skawina and enabled an exchange of insights on future operational and strategic development directions.
